What kind of driving licence is required to hire a van?
Whether you're looking to hire a van or truck, all you need is a valid driving licence that covers the vehicle you plan to hire.
No need to worry if you have points on your licence. Wilkinson Self Drive vans in Bristol are still available if you have six points or fewer.
You must have held your driving licence for at least one year.
Please remember to bring your driving licence with you when collecting your vehicle.

Which documents are required to hire a van?
To hire a van from Wilkinson Self Drive in Bristol, you must be at least 25 years old and have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 12 months (subject to endorsements and restrictions).

We will ask what the vehicle is being used for, as this is required for insurance purposes.
